Kamehameha I

Kamehameha I descends from Keākealani Kāne (k) and Kealiʻiokalani (w), while the Moana line descends from Keākealani Kāne (k) and Kaleiheana (w). The two lines merge with the coupling of Nohomualani Palila and Moanawahine. These are the ancestors of Charles Kanaʻina (k) and Kilinahe (k), which is why they were so closely related but also why Kanaʻina chose him to take over all of his royal duties.
