Kāhea Miller ʻohana!

This site is dedicated to the immediate and extended family of all descendants of the ruling aliʻi of Hawaiʻi. The name "Miller"  is derived from a British citizen of Irish descent who was on Hawaii before 1795 and assisted Kamehameha I along with other foreign advisors such as Isaac Davis and John Young. Alexander P. Miller Sr. is the patriarch of a long line of many Hawaiian ʻohana!

Mela [Miller]

Before the battle of Nuʻuanu there were living on Oahu with Ka-lani-ku-pule Mr. Oliver Holmes, Shomisona, Mr. Lele, Mr. Mela [Miller], Mr. Keaka-ʻeleʻele [Black Jack], and some other foreigners. When Kamehameha conquered the island, they all came over to his side. [After the battle of Nuʻuanu in 1796] Mr. Miller and Mr. Keaka built a red stone house for Ka-ʻahu-manu at Apukaiao in Paunau, Lahaina.*
